Is Student Loan Refinancing Really Possible?

I graduated from college eighteen months ago and the best I can do is flop hamburgers at McDonalds. While it brings in a little money, it is not enough to cover the loan payments that have started since I am out of school. After talking initially with a couple of banks, I was beginning to doubt if student loan refinancing was really possible. I tried a few banks and when they found out I was working a lot of hours but not making much money, they turned me down. Then by accident I walked into a Wells Fargo Bank and just sat down and told my story to the loan officer. One hour later , I had my student loan refinanced and a payment that I can pay even working at McDonalds.
